Ameri-Shred Double Cut Shredding Systems utilize two strip cut shredders so that each document is shred twice. Documents are fed into the first shredder, which includes an output conveyor that discharges onto the infeed of the second shredder. The primary paper shredder’s cutting assembly is specifically designed to optimize throughput while the secondary paper shredder provides the security of a smaller cut. Together, they provide you with the higher throughput associated with strip cut shredders as well as the smaller particle size attributed to cross cut shredders.

Double Cut Shredding Systems can include two conveyor fed industrial shredders or one combined with a dual shaft shredder. These double cut shredding systems offer customers that are running strip-cut paper shredders the option of a double cut shredding system in order to produce a smaller particle size. These flexible double cut shredding systems can be created using Series 3, 4, or 5 industrial paper shredders.
